Building and Grounds committee is the caretakers of the
church and the surrounding grounds. For efficiency of work, this committee has one meeting
with three sub-committees, they are: Physical Plant, Structure and Grounds &
Maintenance. In many cases the work to be done around the church is beyond our expertise.
This is when we contact and contract others for estimates and for the work to be done.
Though this sometimes costs the church more than doing it ourselves, the quality of the
results justify this contracting. If you should have some expertise where you’d like
to help the church, please contact the church we would very much like you to be with us. This
is a brief description of each of the Building and Grounds sub-committees:
 | Physical plant: Electric, wiring, heating, air conditioning, plumbing. |
| Structure: Interior & Exterior of the church and Westminster Hall |
| Grounds and Maintenance: All the grounds around the church. In summer, fall, winter and
spring, this is your first impression of the church. |
It takes many hands to assist in landscaping and beautifying the church - all are
welcome to participate.
Our twice a year "Clean up day" not only helps the church
prepare for the changing seasons, but a way for the church family to get to gather
and have some fun. |
