A Problem With the Priesthood - Malachi 2:1-9
Old Covenant - descendents of Moses' brother Aaron, tribe of Levi.
New Covenant - Jesus is the High Priest; Hebrews 4:14, 7:23-27.
The Church - "But you are ... a royal priesthood" 1 Peter 2:9
Five Fatal Flaws - vv. 2-3 and 8-9
They Dishonored God's Holiness (2-3)
What you think about God is the most important thing about you.
They didn't honor God, so they didn't listen to Him (v.2).
This attitude leads to 1) Rebuke 2) Rejection 3) Removal.

When a leader stops walking with God, he must get back in step.

"Violate" means to decay, destroy or corrupt.
