Sunday Mornings

Christian Education classes are offered to children in grades PreK-8.  Children are dismissed from the Worship Service to attend singing with our Music Director followed by Christian Education classes. 

Nursery

After Sermon

9th grade through college age youth are invited to gather in the conference room of the church to discuss and evaluate how the sermon can relate to the situations faced in that age bracket in what is called Sermon "talk – back”.

Youth Group  

Our Youth Group get-together happens Sunday evenings. Junior High students (6th – 8th) generally  meet at 5pm; older youth (9th – college age) meet immediately after at 7pm. Most of the activities involve indoor/outdoor games, snacks or just kicking back and enjoying comraderie. Time is spent studying Scripture to better understand the lessons Jesus is teaching.

Confirmation

Confirmation involves classes and discussions for high school age youth to learn what it means to be followers of Christ.

Youth Outreach

As part of our Youth Ministries, there is a Youth Outreach which identifies projects for young people to coordinate. Past projects have included Operation Christmas Child, cards and care packages to Our Troops, collection of school supplies for Open Door Mission, food and book drives for Cameron Ministries in Rochester, and cards for those in need in our faith family here at Mendon Church. 

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is offered to children grades PreK (3-4 years old) through 5th for a week during the summer each year .  Our 6th grade and older youth are welcome to volunteer as camp counselors.
