Everything,
(well almost everything) you ever wanted to know about Everyone is welcome at Mendon Church. New people visit us regularly. Many stay and become part of our growing family. We know it's easier to try something new if you have an idea of what to expect. To make a visit easier for you, we've tried to answer some of the questions a visitor might ask. What Time Do I Arrive And In What Style Is The Service? Our Worship service begins at 10:00am. Nursery care is available. Christian education for ages 3 and older is also available during the services. Our building is fully handicapped accessible. There is a "Fellowship Hour" following all services where we enjoy the opportunity of visiting with one another over a cup of coffee and refreshments in an informal social setting. The service is easy to follow. Worship bulletins are provided by the greeters when you enter. Large print bulletins are available for anyone who may need one. Hymn numbers are announced and printed, the words to choruses are printed, and people are invited to stand or sit as appropriate. Praise choruses, words to the hymns, Bible references, and key sermon points are also projected on a screen at the front of the Worship Space. You might say our worship services are "User friendly".
At Mendon Church we teach the fundamentals of the Christian faith. We believe the Bible to be God's Word, and our rule and guide for our faith in practice. Inviting all men, women and children to experience a life-changing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we teach a practical faith for everyday living. Together we seek to grow spiritually, discovering God's gifts and purpose for each of us. Our Christian Education program is lively, hands-on and creative. Christian Education classes for the children are offered during the 10:00am service. Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers.
